WAITRESS Cast Album Now Available for Digital Download

The original cast recording of Broadway's hit musical Waitress is now available for digital downloads and streaming. Produced by Sara Bareilles and Neal Avron, the cast album is being released on DMI Soundtracks and distributed by Warner-Elektra-Atlantic Corporation. The CD will be released on July 1st.

Waitress is the recipient of four Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical and Best Original Score, Leading Actress in a Musical (Jessie Mueller) and Featured Actor in a Musical (Christopher Fitzgerald).

Based upon the 2007 motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, Waitress is the first Broadway musical in history to have four women in the four top creative team spots, with book by Jessie Nelson, score by Sara Bareilles, choreography by Lorin Latarro and direction by Diane Paulus.
