VIDEO: Bruce Willis Talks Broadway Debut in MISERY on 'Letterman': 'I'm Scared to Death'

Bruce Willis made his 64th appearance on CBS's LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN last night. During his visit, the actor spoke about making his Broadway debut in an upcoming stage adaptation of Stephen King's Misery. (although he did share he made a brief appearance in the long-running musical CATS in the role of "Mr. Itchy-Pants"!).

'I'm scared to death," shared Willis of the upcoming project, adding "but yeah, I'm going to be on Broadway!". Willis' appearance begins at the 18 minute mark and his discussion of the Broadway show begins at 21:52.

In March, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures announced that two-time Emmy winner and Golden Globe Award winner Bruce Willis will make his Broadway debut opposite Obie Award-winning stage and screen actress Elizabeth Marvel (Other Desert Cities, "House Of Cards") in the new play Misery, written by two-time Academy Award-winner William Goldman (The Princess Bride, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) who wrote the screenplay for the Academy Award-winning film, based on the acclaimed novel by Stephen King.

Directed by Will Frears (Omnium Gatherum), Misery will play a strictly limited engagement in THE FALL of 2015, at a Broadway house to be announced shortly.

MISERY will be produced by Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures (Mark Kaufman), Castle Rock Entertainment (Martin Shafer, Liz Glotzer) and Raymond Wu.

MISERY has a set design by David Korins (Motown), lighting design by David Weiner (The Normal Heart) and sound design by Tony Award winner Darron West (Peter and the Starcatcher).
