In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the Wednesday, October 31st performances of the Broadway productions of Mary Poppins and The Lion King have been cancelled. (There was no performance of Newsies scheduled).
The goal is to resume the normal performance schedule for all three productions Thursday evening November 1st. Check disneyonbroadway.com for updates regarding future performances this week.
REFUNDS FOR CANCELED PERFORMANCES:
All tickets for the canceled performances will be refunded at the original point of purchase.
If you purchased via Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster via Phone or the Disney on Broadway Hotline: Your refund has already been processed, and your credit card will be refunded automatically within 7-10 business days. For any issues, please contact the Disney on Broadway Hotline at (866) 870-2717 and have your Ticketmaster Account Number/Confirmation Number handy. You need not retain your original tickets.
If you purchased at the Box Office: Please return your original tickets to the Minskoff, New Amsterdam or Nederlander Theater Box Office. You will be able to exchange your tickets for an alternate date of your choice, subject to availability, or you can receive a full refund to the original method of payment.
If you purchased tickets as part of a Group: Please contact your Group Sales Agent for more information regarding refunds or exchanges. Please retain your original tickets until you speak with the Group Sales Agent.
If you purchased tickets through any other licensed sales channel (including, but not limited to, Ticketmaster Retail Outlets, Broadway.com, Continental Guest Services, Broadway Inbound, etc.): Please return to the original point of purchase for more information regarding refunds or exchanges. If you have your tickets in hand, please retain them for a refund or exchange.
EXCHANGES FOR OTHER PERFORMANCES:
Complimentary exchanges for performances Tuesday, Oct. 30 and Wednesday, Oct. 31 will be accepted through the original point of purchase.
For orders placed through Ticketmaster, please contact the Disney on Broadway Hotline at 866-870-2717 to select a new date.
There is no guarantee of availability or similar location on a future performance, and tickets may not be available at the original price paid, but all efforts will be made to find a suitable substitution for the original order.
For guests who are unsure of their original point of purchase or who are unable to return their tickets to the original point of purchase, each theater may, at its discretion, follow a Past Date Policy. Please contact each individual venue for more information on this policy.
