The first Broadway production of Dames at Sea opened at Broadway's Helen Hayes Theater (240 W 44th Street), just last night, October 22, and BroadwayWorld was there for all of the festivities. Check out more photos from the curtain call here!

Broadway's new suspense thriller Misery, starring two-time Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Bruce Willis and three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf and written by two-time Academy Award winner William Goldman, just began performances last night, October 22, 2015, at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 W 44th Street), and officially opens on Sunday, November 15, 2015, in a strictly limited 16-week engagement. Paper Mill Playhouse opens its 2015-2016 season with the world premiere musical THE BANDSTAND. As previously announced, Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes (Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, Bonnie and Clyde), Corey Cott(Newsies, Gigi) and Tony Award winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone, 42nd Street) star in the show, which runs through Sunday, November 8, 2015. Nothing beats the relationship between a man and his dog, especially when the man is played by Matthew Broderick and the dog is played by the lovable Annaleigh Ashford. SYLVIA, a play by two-time Pulitzer Prize-nominee A.R. Gurney (The Dining Room, Love Letters) and directed by Tony Award-winner Daniel Sullivan (Proof) opens on Broadway on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Three years after starring in the Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Megan Hilty returns to City Centeras Annie Oakley in this concert staging of Irving Berlin's classic 1946 musical on October 27 and 28. Hilty will be joined by a Tony-honored cast including Andy Karl, Chuck Cooper, Marshall Factora, Judy Kaye, Brad Oscar, and Ron Raines. PRINCE OF BROADWAY, a new musical celebrating the extraordinary six-decade Broadway career of producer-director Harold Prince, plays from October 23-November 22, 2015 at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo, Japan and November 28-December 10, 2015 at Umeda Arts Theatre, Main Hall, in Osaka, Japan. The HAMILTON cast album has been out in the world for a bit, and the company of the hit musical just celebrated. On Friday, October 16, Lin-Manuel Miranda took audience questions and was then joined by cast members to sign the original Broadway cast recording at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble (150 East 86th Street). As BroadwayWorld previously reported, comedy and television icon Bob Saget will step into the role of 'Pastor Greg' in the Tony® Award-nominated comedy Hand to God beginning November 3, 2015 through the production's previously announced closing on January 3, 2016. Saget returns to Broadway after making his Broadway debut in 2007 in the Tony® winning musical The Drowsy Chaperone. Will Swenson is that you? Pioneer Theatre Company reprises its successful concert series for a limited run. Richard O'Brien's raucous musical THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW is being offered as a special event, for four performances only, in a script-in-hand, singing-and-dancing concert-style presentation. The national tour of the new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath (Beautiful) for the 1994 film, launched from Cleveland, OH earlier this month, and is currently playing Burlington, Vermont.
