Laura Benanti (Amalia), Zachary Levi (Georg), Gavin Creel (Kodaly), Michael McGrath (Sipos), Jane Krakowski (Ilona) and Byron Jennings (Maraczek) star in Roundabout's new Broadway production ofSHE LOVES ME, directed by Scott Ellis, choreographed by Warren Carlyle with musical direction byPaul Gemignani. On March 13th, Broadway's Cinderella, Tony nominee Laura Osnes, and music director Benjamin Rauhala hosted the second installment of THE BROADWAY PRINCESS PARTY at Feinstein's/54 Below, featuring Sierra Boggess,Courtney Reed, Adrienne Warren, Kara Lindsay, and over a dozen more princesses. Second Stage Theatre, in association with Stacey Mindich Productions, will soon present the new musical, Dear Evan Hansen. The company will include several performers who appeared in the World Premiere production at Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage, featuring Ben Platt as the title character, Evan Hansen, in a performance that was called "extraordinary, bordering on heroic" by Peter Marks in the Washington Post. Also reprising their performances from the "splendid" (Marks, Washington Post) cast are Laura Dreyfuss as Zoe, Mike Faist as Connor, Rachel Bay Jones as Heidi, Will Roland as Jared,Jennifer Laura Thompson as Cynthia. The Public Theater presents the world premiere play Dry Powder by Sarah Burgess and directed byThomas Kail. Part of Oskar Eustis' 10th Anniversary season, this deliciously funny new drama about the people shaping, and skewing, the American economy began previews on Tuesday, March 1 and has now been extended a final week to Sunday, May 1, with an official press opening on Tuesday, March 22. The women took the center stage last night at The Ladies Who Sing Sondheim- a gala benefit for Off-Broadway's esteemed Classic Stage Company. The evening was and directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, who will become the company's new Artistic Director in July. The evening included performances from Sondheim's canon byPatti LuPone (Gypsy), Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple), Joaquina Kalukango (The Color Purple), Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, CSC's Passion), Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate) and Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof).Check out photos from the epic night here!

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the first-ever New York revival of Alfred Uhry and Robert Waldman's musical comedy THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM. The production opened just last night, March 13, at the Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). Last night, Kenneth Branagh and Rob Brydon opened in THE PAINKILLER at Garrick Theatre, the fourth production in Branagh's resident season. The pair last joined forces for Sean Foley's adaptation of Francis Veber's classic French farce at the Lyric, Belfast in 2011. They're joined in the Garrick production by Claudie Blakley, Marcus Fraser, Mark Hadfield and Alex Macqueen, and the show runs until April 30.
