Tony Award-nominated actress Kelli O'Hara sang a thrilling version of 'God Bless America' at Game 6 of the World Series at Yankee Stadium. O'Hara performed the classic song during the 7th inning stretch.
The Philadelphia Phillies and new York Yankees took each other on at Yankee Stadium with New York nabbing a 7-3 victory over the Phillies on Wednesday evening, November 4th, winning the franchise's 27th title and its first since scoring three straight from 1998-2000. On Tuesday, October 13th Kelli O'Hara returned to the role of Ensign Nellie Forbush in Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC, directed by Bartlett Sher, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Three time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara, who originated the role in the production, had been on maternity leave since she leaving the show last March and giving birth to a son in late June. During her absence Laura Osnes who most recently starred on Broadway as Sandy in the revival of Grease played the part.
