The all-new Broadway cast recording of Side Show will be released on Broadway Records in early 2015, producers announced today. Boasting Side Show's legendary and beloved score, which now includes new music,and featuring the acclaimed vocal performances of the recently-revealed Broadway cast of the upcoming, totally reimagined production, the new original Broadway cast recording of Side Show will be produced by six-time Grammy Award® winning producer Frank Filipetti and will be released in the theater, stores and on iTunes in early 2015. Under the direction of Academy Award® winning director Bill Condon, making his theatrical debut, Side Show will beginpreviews performances at Broadway's St. James Theatre on Tuesday, October 28 with an official Opening Night on Monday, November 17.

Frank Filipetti, six-time Grammy-winning producer, brings over four decades of experience as well as well-earned critical-acclaim as one of the most sought after Broadway music producers for Original Cast Albums which include such recordings as Book of Mormon, Wicked, Aladdin, Motown, Spamalot, Aida, Annie Get Your Gun, and The Boy From Oz. Separate from his Broadway work, Frank earned his fifth and sixth Grammys for James Taylor's Hourglass CD for Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical) and Best Pop Album. Just a few artists Frank has worked with in the past include Barbra Streisand, Madonna, Luciano Pavarotti, Elton John, Billy Joel, George Michael, Andrea Bocelli, Madonna, Rod Stewart, Rufus Wainwright, Carly Simon, Meatloaf, Frank Zappa, Dolly Parton, Vanessa Williams, Liza Minnelli, KISS, Foreigner, and Cyndi Lauper.

The cast of Side Show features Erin Davie and Emily Padgett, who reprise their leading roles as Violet and Daisy Hilton, will be Matthew Hydzik as Buddy Foster, Robert Joy as Sir, Ryan Silverman as Terry Connor, and David St. Louis as Jake. The ensemble of Side Show characters will include Brandon Bieber as the 3 Legged Man, Matthew Patrick Davis as the Geek, Charity Angel Dawson as the Fortune Teller, Lauren Elder as the Venus di Milo, Javier Ignacio as the Dog Boy, Jordanna James as the World's Tiniest Woman, Kelvin Moon Loh as the Half-Man Half-Woman, Barrett Martin as the Human Pin Cushion, Don Richard as the Reptile Man, Blair Ross as the Bearded Lady, Hannah Shankman as the Tattoo Girl, Josh Walker as the World's Tiniest Man, with Brandon Andrus, Con O'Shea-Creal, Derek Hanson, Michaeljon Slinger and DeLaney Westfall.

Side Show is inspired by the remarkable true story of the Hilton twins, Daisy and Violet, who were legends in their time and the highest paid performers on the vaudeville circuit. Side Show is their heartwarming search for first love and acceptance amidst the spectacle of fame and scrutiny under the spotlight.

Featuring a "supercharged score" (Charles Isherwood, New York Times), Side Show includes new music by multiple Grammy Award® winner and Academy Award®, Golden Globe®, and Tony Award® nominee Henry Krieger (Dreamgirls), with book and lyrics by Tony Award® nominee Bill Russell and additional book material by Bill Condon, and choreography by Tony and Olivier Award® nominee Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia).

The "Broadway dream" design team includes scenic design by three-time Tony Award® nominee David Rockwell (Kinky Boots, Hairspray, "Academy Awards"); lighting design by nine-time Tony Award® winners Jules Fisher & Peggy Eisenhauer (Ragtime, Gypsy, Chicago); costume design by five-time Tony Award® nominee Paul Tazewell (The Color Purple, In the Heights); sound design by Tony Award® nominee Peter Hylenski (Motown, After Midnight); hair and wig design by Charles LaPointe (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Motown); make-up design by Cookie Jordan, illusions by Paul Kieve (Pippin, Matilda, Ghost); and special make-up effects by the Academy Award® winning team Dave Elsy & Lou Elsy (X-Men, The Wolfman). Musical direction and arrangements are by Sam Davis (Dreamgirls at the Apollo), orchestrations are by six time Tony Award® nominee Harold Wheeler,(Hairspray, Dreamgirls, The Wiz); and choreography is by Tony and Olivier Award® nominee Anthony Van Laast (Mamma Mia). Since its inception, Jack Tantleff has served as Creative Supervisor.
