Rules of Cool, a new web series will soon start production in New York City. It is the creation of a group of friends who pooled their professional talents and clever ideas to develop a sequence of programs that will target real situations with thoughtful humor.

Producer, Ashley Kate Adams has joined with writer, Lacey Jeka, Co-Creator Caitlin Cooke and aka Studio Productions Director of Operations, Janine Lee Papio, to assemble the series' team. 15 minute segments will be produced twice weekly in various locations throughout city. The series is directed by Patryk Larney, Founder of Hopetree Entertainment.

"Rules of Cool" will develop segments to explore a variety of topics including throwing a party in a new apartment, exploring the high life, getting in shape, and the rules of dating. While other popular television series have featured friends in day to day situations, the creators of "Rules of Cool" believe that they have some unique differences.

As an independent project, they have hand-picked their actors and actresses and have a core of dedicated stars including Jake Robinson from Carrie Diaries and Ravi Roth who plays Abraham from the Off-Broadway production of Alter Boys. The cast also includes Bryan Langlitz from Broadway's Memphis. Their musical talent includes Bridges and Powerlines, The Connection, The Hart Strings and Broadway's Rachel Potter.

With a teaser trailer already online, an Indiegogo campaign in full swing, and the cast and crew fully assembled, "Rules of Cool" has the potential to reach a large audience.

The concept of the web series gives performers an opportunity to popularize their original entertainment ideas to engage the public. And, the creators of "Rules of Cool" hope to do just that. Producer, Ashley Kate Adams commented, "We are able to indulge our talents in a community of dedicated professionals who are passionate about the excellence and success of our project."
