It’s said you can’t choose your family, but what if you could?
The Crow Mill is directed by Eli Gonda (Associate director for the Broadway productions of Cyrano de Bergerec, Nine, Fiddler on the Roof, The Glass Menagerie,). Costumes are designed by Alana Unterberg (The Infliction of Cruelty) and the lighting is designed by Jen Schriever (Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, You’re Welcome America, The Color Purple). The rest of the creative team will be announced shortly.
The Crow Mill marks the follow-up play from Andrew Unterberg, the co-author of 2006 Fringe Overall Excellence Award Winner, The Infliction of Cruelty. The New York Times called The Infliction of Cruelty “clever, literate, and incisive” and Backstage calls the play “sophisticated and slick,” while American Theater Web applauds “finally a Fringe Show with some style.”“It is very exciting to be back at the FringeNYC,” said Andrew Unterberg. “With all that is going on in the world, The Crow Mill is certainly of the moment and I am thrilled to be part of a festival that truly fosters creativity and self expression.”All images by Aaron Epstein
