Acclaimed songwriter Scott Alan returned for his fifth appearance at Rockwell: Table & Stage for an evening of songs from his five successful albums (Dreaming Wide Awake, Keys, What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up, LIVE, and Anything Worth Holding on To) as well as his musicals, HOME and IF I.
Alan has written songs for a long list of Broadway and recording stars including Lea Salonga, Sutton Foster, Samantha Barks, Ramin Karimloo, Jane Monheit, Eden Espinosa, Pentatonix, Marc Broussard, Megan Hilty, Adrienne Lenox, Diana DeGarmo, Jonathan Groff, Liz Callaway, Jeremy Jordan, Taylor Dayne, Tracie Thoms, Cheyenne Jackson, Randy Graff, and many more.
Alan has sold out concerts in Australia, London, Germany, Holland and various cities across North and South America, including seven sold-out concerts at the legendary jazz club Birdland.
His song 'It's Good to See You Again' was featured on the premiere of the 9th season of 'So You Think You Can Dance' and was the number one downloaded song on iTunes and Amazon.com on the evening of it's debut. His musical HOME with Christy Hall will open in London's West End in September 2015. His musical IF I opened to rave reviews in Tokyo, Japan in September 2014.
With Alan at the piano and some of today's brightest Broadway stars and recording artists, the audience was gifted with an intimate night of storytelling and supreme vocal talents.
Among the performers were Jai Rodriguez (Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, Zanna Don't), Lindsay Pearce (The Glee Project), Kate Aconfora, Kate Pazakis (The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas), Carly Jibson (Hairspray, Crybaby), Alisha Zalkin, A.J. Rafael, and Michael J. Willett (MTV's Faking It & G.B.F.), Katie Stevens (MTV's Faking It & American Idol Finalist), Kelly Stables (TV Land's The Ex's & Horrible Bosses 2), Jeremy Michael Lewis, Luke Edgemon (The Voice Finalist & Glee), Vicky Vox (From the Drag Queen Pop Group DWV), Shoshana Bean (Wicked, Hairspray), and Shanice Wilson (Grammy Nominated recording artist and star of the OWN TV reality show 'Flex & Shanice').

Scott charmed Kate Pazakis into doing an impromptu performance of "Say Goodbye." Katie Stevens sang a beautiful medley of "Always" and "Goodnight" in honor of her grandmotheR. Kelly Stables sang a wonderful rendition of "Look (A Rainbow) in honor of her sister.
Luke Edgemon dedicated his performance of "Home" to his mentor and friend, Shoshana Bean, who originally recorded the song on Alan's debut album Dreaming Wide Awake. Vicky Vox sang Alan's coming out anthem, "Blessing." Indie recording artist Shoshana Bean sang Scott Alan's emotionally powerful anthem of living with depression "Anything Worth Holding On To." Shanice Wilson, one of Scott Alan's childhood icons, closed the night with the powerful rendition of "I'm Coming Home To You" from Scott Alan's sixth album 'Greatest Hits: Vol. One,' which received a standing ovation from the sold out crowd.
