Photo Coverage: Rosie's 'Build Dreams For Kids' Gala

Last night, September 20, Rosie O'Donnell hosted Rosie's Building Dreams For Kids Gala at the Marriot Marquis Hotel. The evening, which honored Neil Friedman and Michael Goldstein, featured a performance by Cyndi Lauper and Rosie's Broadway Kids. The Gala, designed to benefit Rosie's Broadway Kids Foundation, additionally featured a live auction, with prizes consisting of a 3-Night Nickelodeon Hotel package in Orlando, Florida, VIP Tickets to Z-100's Jingle Ball Concert in NYC, a front row seat at Howard Stern's radio show, and the chance to "play" President for a day at Nickelodeon.
Broadway Kids was created because of Rosie's love of children and the knowledge that one person can make a difference in the life of a child. Proceeds from the event will help continue the efforts to improve the lives of children from supporting high-quality early education centers serving children nation-wide from low-income families to providing free musical theater programs to New York City's neediest public school students.
