Joseph Macchia, producer of the award-winning fundraising series, Cabaret Cares, just presented an event for Help Is On The Way Today. Broadway dynamo, Doreen Montalvo, hosted the cast of the Broadway smash, On Your Feet! - the new Broadway musical about Gloria and Emilio Estefan, playing at The Marquis.

Cabaret Cares is the MAC-award winning, ongoing monthly cabaret series that benefits Help Is On The Way Today, a 501c3 non-profit organization created by Joseph Macchia in 2005. The charity, which assists children and youth living with HIV and AIDS, has raised over $100,000 and helped 650 children through monthly fundraisers produced by Macchia. The shows can feature Broadway show casts, up and coming talent and many prominent performers from the New York Cabaret and Theater communities.
Featuring musical direction by Lon Hoyt, performers included: Yassmin Alers, Karmine Alers, David Baida, Henry Gainza, Linedy Genao, Nina Lafarga, Omar Lopez-Cepero, Doreen Montalvo, Genny Lis Padilla , Julius Rubio, Luis Salgado, Jennifer Sanchez, Josh Segarra , Martin Sola, Brett Sturgis, Alexandria Suarez, Eric Ulloa, Ana Villafane, and Lee Zarrett.
