The Tisch School of the Arts at New York University's annual gala, held yesterday, April 19 at the New York Marriott Marquis, hosted a slew of distinguished alumni, including Martin Scorsese, Alec Baldwin, Bill Paxton and James Paxton, Jonathan Tisch, Spike Lee and more! BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the star-studded event below!

For the past two decades, Dean Mary Schmidt Campbell has served as a pioneer in arts education. This year’s gala event will applaud her transformational leadership and celebrate the school’s faculty, students and alumni.

Ordinary Miraculous is a celebration of the Tisch community who has altered the cultural landscape and the future change makers who will continue that legacy. The red carpet event will include a champagne reception, live performances and a star studded tribute to Tisch. The evening will be produced and directed by Bill Castellino.

“I am honored to be part of this special celebration of Dean Campbell's 20th year leading Tisch School of the Arts,” said Alec Baldwin. “As many of you know, I owe a great deal to this school. Graduating from Tisch was one of the most meaningful experiences of my career. Throughout its history, this school has had a profound impact on our cultural landscape. Under Dean Campbell’s leadership, I have seen Tisch’s influence on the arts flourish. I will always be proud to call myself a Tisch alum.”

For more than 40 years, Tisch School of the Arts has drawn on the vast resources of New York City and New York University to create an extraordinary training ground for the individual artist and scholar of the arts. Students learn their craft in a spirited, risk-taking environment that combines the professional training of a conservatory with the liberal arts education of a major research university.

As one of the nation’s leading centers of undergraduate and graduate study in the performing and cinematic arts, Tisch offers programs of study that incorporate state-of-the-art facilities; a collaboratively oriented community of award-winning faculty members; internship opportunities with established professionals; and the incomparable artistic and cultural resources of New York City.
