PHOTO FLASH: HAMILTON's Alysha Deslorieux Photographed In Costume Using 1839 Lens

Alysha Deslorieux made her Broadway debut when she joined the ensemble of SISTER ACT, understudying the lead role of Deloris Van Cartier, plus two others. She played one of The Shirelles in the original Broadway cast of BEAUTIFUL and now, in Lin-Manuel Miranda's revolutionary smash, HAMILTON, she serves as standby for all three Schuyler sisters - Angelica, Eliza and Peggy - as well as for Maria Reynolds.

Alysha Deslorieux is the latest subject in HAMILTON's series of portraits taken by photographer Josh Lehrer using his 1839 lens.

The new musical Hamilton has book, music and lyrics by Tony and Grammy Award-winning composerLin-Manuel Miranda, who also plays the title role. Hamilton is inspired byRon Chernow's biography "Alexander Hamilton."
