NativeAliens Announces Adaptation Of MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR

NativeAliens Theatre Collective, now in its thirteenth season, recently announced its upcoming adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor.” Entitled “The Merry Wives of Windsor Women’s Correctional Facility,” this subversive look at a classic comic text examines sex, love, and class warfare through the lens of a contemporary women’s prison. The production, which will be directed by Jodi Smith and Yasmine Jahanmir, will run from March 24th-29th at The Access Theatre (380 Broadway, 4th floor).

The performance schedule will be as follows: March 24th-28th at 8:00pm, with a special 3:00pm performance on March 29. There will be an 8:00pm preview on March 18th and 19th.
