The Emmy Award excitement seems to be dying down and celebs have been celebrated and skewered for their fashion hits and misses.  And though most people have moved on, especially with the new seasons underway, a topic that still seems to be lingering is celebrities manicures!

The 'mani cam' on E! Entertainment Television transformed how we look at celeb's manicures.  It was a fun way for their glam nails to "walk" the red carpet.  But response has created a frenzy I don't think anyone expected.  Now the big question is will actresses start to command big bucks to wear nail polish colors?

WWD reported that interest in Azature Pogosian's product increased to an overwhelming level after Kelly Osborn mentioned she was wearing Azature nail lacquer with black diamonds at the Emmys.

“I haven’t slept since Sunday. I’ve personally been flooded with inquiries on the $250,000 nail polish that Kelly wore to the Emmys, and the $25 Azature black diamond infused nail polish has sold out at Ron Robinson and Fred Segal,” he said.

It will be interesting to see if celeb's favorite nail colors start to influence what people buy and choose at their next maniucre.  And, if other networks will create some verson of E!'s 'mani cam.'  Quirky ingenue Zooey Deschanel wore little tuxedos on her nails at this year's Golden Globes, at the Emmy's she decorated with little TV's.  She tweeted a photo of her nails and then got to show them off more when interviewd by E!.  Trendy nail art like that is what inspired E! to create their 'mani cam.'

When asked, Damla Dogan, senior vice president of development at E!, said E! would continue its nails coverage at the Academy Awards and Golden Globes next year. “The mani-cam is here to stay,” she declared.
