No need to spend a ton on Ebay to score a Maison Martin Margiela piece from their collaboration with H&M. The avant guarde collection has yet to sell out at the NYC flagship store on Fifth Ave.
Why? What makes this collection different from previous ones? It could be that H&M had a larger stock than usual. Or maybe it's the pricing and styling, which were both further from most people's reach than say the Versace collection or Lanvin collections.
Last week, WWD reported that the collection had drawn smaller crowds than usual. H&M didn't seem worried. A spokesperson told the paper, "We are pleased with the selling of the collection; it is exactly what we expected."
