MOZART IN THE JUNGLE, Amazon's music industry-centric show, has won Golden Globe Awards!
Winning both of its Golden Globe nominations, MOZART IN THE JUNGLE takes home the awards for Best Television Series- Musical or Comedy, and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series- Musical or Comedy for Gael Garcia Bernal.
Golden Globe winner Gael García Bernal (Best Actor in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy) stars as maestro Rodrigo, whose leadership took the New York Symphony to new heights in the first season of the series, which is nominated for the Golden Globe as Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. Now, as Rodrigo prepares for a momentous Latin American tour, he's also challenged to lead the orchestra to "play with blood" - not just for the music, but possibly for its very future.
Bernal leads a stellar cast that includes Lola Kirke (Gone Girl) as young oboist Hailey; Saffron Burrows (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) as worldly cellist Cynthia; Malcolm McDowell (The Mentalist) as former conductor Thomas; and Bernadette Peters (Smash) as board chairwoman Gloria. Roman Coppola (Moonrise Kingdom), Jason Schwartzman (The Darjeeling Limited) and Paul Weitz (About a Boy) are executive producers of MOZART IN THE JUNGLE.Videos
