MEAN GIRLS Writers Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond Take Over Spotify's BEST OF BROADWAY Playlist

Calling all plastics, cool moms and wannabes! Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond, creators of Tony nominated Mean Girls The Musical, are taking over Spotify's groolest "Best of Broadway" playlist to share 68 hidden gems about songs from the Broadway show and discuss their favorite show tunes. Tina divulges one of her favorite songs from Mean Girls The Musical is "What's Wrong With Me?" sung by the character of Gretchen Wieners.

The playlist includes fetch classics like Gene Wilder's "Pure Imagination," Dick Van Dyke's "Bye Bye Birdie," West Side Story's "Jet Song," South Pacific's "A Wonderful Guy," The Music Man's "Ya Got Trouble" and more.

Mean Girls opened on Broadway April 8 at the August WilsonTheatre (245 West 52nd Street). The musical features a book by nine-time Emmy Award winner Tina Fey, based on her screenplay for the film, music by three-time Emmy Award winner Jeff Richmond, and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Nell Benjamin. Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw directs and choreographs.
