Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - will present the cast of Broadway's hit musical Waitress - including new star Katharine McPhee - celebrating the music of the show's composer Sara Bareilles in a special benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on Sunday, May 13. A second show was recently added at 7:00 PM after the 9:30 PM performance sold out.
Directed by cast members Molly Jobe and Matt DeAngelis, this be a fun night of heartfelt tunes by the seven time Grammy nominated composer of the hit Broadway musical. The cast will sing an array of songs from all of Sara's albums including hits like "Brave," "Love Song," and "Gravity." The band includes music director Adam Kaufman on piano, Ryan Vona on guitar, Jon Epcar on drums, Jeff Allen on bass, Alex Foote on guitar, and Yair Evnine on cello.
Katharine McPhee and the cast of Broadway's Waitress will perform the music of Sara Bareilles to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on Sunday, May 13 at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM (SOLD OUT) at The Green Room 42 (570 Tenth Avenue at 42nd Street, on the 4th Floor of Yotel). The cover charge is $30-50 with $200 premium tickets available (which include a meet and greet with Katharine McPhee). There is no food and drink minimum.
