Jessie Tyler Ferguson, the star of the hit Broadway show, Fully Committed and TV's Modern Family is also a restaurateur and avid foodie.
And now he has teamed up with PEPCID® Tastemakers "Celebrating Local Eats" to inspire people to explore their local flavors, reminding foodies that they don't necessarily need to travel across the world to savor great tastes. PEPCID® is also currently sponsoring a local eats photo contest for people to win cash cards and a trip to New York City.
Jesse Tyler Ferguson's recipe for whole-roasted red snapper is a fantastic summertime meal that is ideal outdoor grilling. You can find the recipe on his web site and food blog at http://www.jessetylerferguson.com/. On Jesse's blog, he teams up with private chef and recipe developer Julie Tanous. You can also try out more of their recipes like the "Fully Committed Coffee Smoothie," "The Perks of Being a Cauliflower" and "Hatch Green Chile Eggs."
About Jesse: Jesse's evolution as a foodie started in New Mexico as a child where he gained his love for spicy foods and continued into his 20's in NYC where he first explored Indian and Thai. More recently in LA, he learned to cook which eventually lead to the opening of his restaurant, Terrine, and now his food blog. His passion for food carries over to his new Broadway show, "Fully Committed," which opened at the end of April. Jesse's heartburn hasn't stopped him from continuing to explore unique local flavors, not even a trip to the emergency room during which he mistook heartburn for a heart attack.
