Idina Menzel, Anthony Rapp, LaChanze & More In New IF/THEN Rehearsal Look

The accomplished and impressive cast of the highly anticipated new musical IF/THEN, including headliners Idina Menzel and Anthony Rapp, can be spotted in new rehearsal shots just released of the actors in action while the show rehearses for its out-of-town tryout in Washington, D.C., opening next month.

Commemorating the very first complete run-through of the musical, cast member Ryann Redmond took to her Instagram account to post a photo and to write, "We just ran through the show at @ifthenmusical for the first time! Now time for some notes..."

Also, earlier this week, Redmond posted a candid shot of Menzel's previous RENT co-star Anthony Rapp, with whom she reunites on this new project nearly twenty years later.

Additionally, Redmond has shared a short video clip of fellow cast member Curtis Holbrook showing off his copious choreographic skills with an impromptu vest ballet, too.

The official synopsis for IF/THEN is as follows: "On the verge of turning 40, Elizabeth moves to New York City, the ultimate city of possibility, intent on a fresh start - new home, new friends, and hopes for a resurgent career. But even in her carefully planned new life, the smallest decision or most random occurrence will impact her world in ways she never dreamt possible. Set against the ever-shifting landscape of modern day Manhattan, If/Then is a romantic and original new musical about how choice and chance collide and how we learn to love the fallout."

IF/THEN begins performances at The National Theatre in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 and the official opening is set for Sunday, November 24, 2013. The production will then begin previews on Broadway on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 and will officially open on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
