Fashion Photo of the Day 7/30/13 - Lizzy Caplan

I have loved Lizzy Caplan since I first saw her in Mean Girls. She's funny - bitchy funny - sarcastic, spontaneous and the kind of girl you just wish you were friends with. Oh, and did I forget gorgeous? Because she's gorgeous. Case in point, this amazing look she wore to the CBS/CW/Showtime Summer TCA party in Los Angeles. Not only is she wearing a bold orange but she is nailing it from head-to-toe.

Let's start with the killer J Mendel dress. I would see that color on the rack and think, "Really pretty, not for me." Lizzy thought, "Really pretty, definitely for me!" What makes this dress so fabulous, in addition to the color, are the strategically placed cutouts. J Mendel did an excellent job keeping this dress classic but with a very sexy twist with the use of the cutout under the breats and the slim cutouts that act almost like seams. The negative space gives a blocked color effect and accents her body in all the right places. Caplan topped it all off with strappy metallic shoes and a box clutch.
