The Duchess Of Cambridge has once again followed in her late mother-in-law Princess Diana's footsteps. The very pregnant royal was in Southampton yesterday to officially name the new 'Royal Princess' cruise ship, which marks her last solo engagement before the baby arrives. She got into the spirt of the event and smashed a bottle of champagne the liner's hull and attended a ceremony onboard. Almost 30 years ago Princess Diana attended a similar ceremony when she named the ship's predecessor. For that occasion Diana opted for a red dress with black pussybow detail, while opted Catherine to cover up in a 'Dalmatian mac' by Hobbs.
I love the black and white, animal print of her dress paired with the black fascinator. Catherine looked impeccible and as elegant as ever. It must be difficult this late in the pregnancy to pull together such chic outfits for major appearances. But once again, The Duchess made it look totally effortless, as if she was dressing for errands. I wish her all the best in her ninth month and cannot wait to hear about the baby royal!
