One of the many perks of being the face of a high end fashion house is that you never have to wonder, "What am I going to wear?" Marion Cotillard once again looked ravishing in what I can only guess is a custom Christian Dior creation. When Dior dresses Cotillard they always suprise me a little with their playfulness and edge. I know they can do drama and I know they can do glamour, but lately they have been showcasing some chic whimsy without sacrificing elegance.
I love the color blocking in this dress. The verticle lines and hemline are unexpected and the colors are very bold. Cotillard could have gone with a sleek hair style to finish off the modern look but she instead went with a retro up-do to add some softness and drama. She looks stunning as usual and was made for Dior. My only critique, and it's slight, are the earrings and bracelet. I wish she had gone with something not quite as intricate and floral to bridge the Gap between the retro hairstyle and the modern dress. But one can never go wrong with Chopard jewels at the end of the day!
