Fashion Photo of the Day 1/28/14 - Felicity Jones

I love this Alexander McQueen dress (is it a dress?) on Felicity Jones. It may be a to-die-for top and skirt - regardless, I am in love. There is so much drama packed into what is really a simple look: gold top, black bottom. But what McQueen has done with them makes me envious that it is not in my closet right now so I can parade around my apartment looking just as divine.

I am usually not a fan of halter tops but this one just nails it for me. The embellishments on the top needed to be balanced by bare shoulders but just a tube top wouldn't have been as interesting. The high neckline is what gives it that extra oomph. Combine that with the perfectly cut black skirt and voila, perfection. Jones went for glamorous smokey eyes and a deep red lip, because really, with an outfit like that, why not? And I am loving her messy bob that speaks to her quirky sense of style and personality.
