Fashion Photo of the Day 1/15/14 - Elisabeth Moss

Elisabeth Moss not only took home a Golden Globe Sunday night she also was one of my best dressed. I absolutely loved this pre-fall 2014 J Mendel dress and was pretty surprised to hear it was a J Mendel. Kate Mara also wore a J Mendel dress, hers being a silver deep plunging gown, which to me seems more typical of their label. This deep ruby and black sequined chevron pattern is definitely chic and beautiful and is a bit funkier than I have seen from them before.

I love the bold pattern combined with the cheer organza and high low hem. It creates a very intriguing and sexy look that Moss positively rocked. My only slight critique is that Moss could have gone with more dramatic with her makeup to complement the dress but I do like her fresh look as well. This dress just screams drama to me so why not go all the way? Maybe next time Elisabeth! Regardless, she looked amazing, perfect dress choice and when in doubt, a red lip is always a great choice.
