Fashion Photo of the Day 11/18/13 - Angelina Jolie

Obviously, I think Angelina Jolie is just stunning. She is basically in a league all her own. Only Angelina could create a whole fashion movement from one Oscar's pose - you remember, the one leg coming through the high slit velvet gown? Yeah that one. Well, Angelina is out and about again this time at the Academy Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 5th Annual Governors Awards in California wearing a beautiful Atelier Versace gown. There is no doubt the dress is a masterpiece but I can't figure out if I love it or feel underwhelmed.

I know, how dare I right? But hear me out. We've established Angelina is a goddess. She looks as chic and elegant as ever. And I love the delicate fabric of the gown but you can really only see it up top, at the sleeves. If that delicate mesh with the beading detail was able to carry through the whole sihouette this dress would knock out off the park. But for me, she feels a little weighted down by a lot of black. Well, even Angelina has to come back to Earth every now and then!
