I had no idea that Anne Hathaway's wedding gown was partially pink! I loved the pictures of her dress last week and now that I see the sketch I love it even more.
The custom Valentino creation was imagined by the designer himself, and came to life in the brand’s couture atelier in Rome. If you told me little fairies helped sew the gown I wouldn't have batted an eye. The end result was so magical when Ms. Hathaway wed her fiance Adam Shulman last Saturday in Big Sur, California, that it could have only come from the pages of a fairy tale.....or with the help of a fairy godfather like Mr. Valentino himself.
People reported "according to a rep for Valentino, the design team created a strapless ivory silk point d’esprit tulle dress, which includes a pink hand-painted shaded train embroidered with satin flowers. The 1920s-inspired veil consists of a lace ribbon with a large flower, adorned with small crystal beads."
