Fashion Photo of the Day 10/25/13 - Lupita Nyong'o

I am so thrilled to be featuring Lupita Nyong'o as my Fashion Photo of the Day! If you don't know her name, you will soon. Nyongo'o is the star of the movie Twelve Years a Slave and has already been getting a ton of Oscars buzz. And she has hit every red carpet and appearance with bold choices, bright colors and patterns, chic silhouettes and all around brilliant fashion.

Thank you Nyonog'o and J Mendel for bringing back the yellow dress! Remember last fall when all we saw were yellow and citrine dresses? It was such a welcome change from the reds, blacks and blues. But as magically as they appeared they disappeared in a puff of smoke. I love this bright yellow on Nyonog'o because it's not only a bold statement but it looks great with her complexion. She is glowing! And I had to show you pictures of both the front and back because both are so well done with perfectly placed cutouts expert tailoring. This dress is beyond gorgeous and I can't wait to follow Nyonog'o's journey both in her career and through fashion!
