Yesterday was the Christening of Prince George. It was a very special occasion and very very Private - only 24 guests invited including the Queen and Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and George's seven godparents and their spouses. The color of the day was cream to match baby George's Christening robe. Catherine Duchess of Cambridge looked chic in a cream suit by Alexander McQueen and a hat by Jane Taylor. But really, are we at all surprised Kate was the epitome of class and elegance?
I love the simplicity with which she wears things. She never overwhelms her clothing with too many accessories or dramatic makeup. Everything is crisp, clean and beautiful. Pippa Middled also echoed the color scheme for the day and wore a cream wool trapeze coat over a light pink dress with a tiny pillbox hat, as did Camilla. Congratulations to the Royal Family!
