Cindy Marchionda Retruns To The Laurie Beechman Theater For A Four Month Series Of Saturdays Beginning 8/15

Following the great success of her spring engagement, dynamic singer Cindy Marchionda returns by very popular demand to The Laurie Beechman Theater for a four month series of Saturdays beginning August 15 and running also on September 5th, October 17th and November 21st with her sensational show, _"live at the beechman!"_ All shows are at 8:00. The Laurie Beechman Theater is located inside The West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street (between 9th & 10th Avenues). A convenient parking lot is located on the block. There will be a $20 music charge and a $15 Food/Drink minimum. MAC members pay a $15 music charge. Reservations: (212) 695 6909.

Weaving personal and public events from her life over the last two years, the show touches on everything from new beginnings to dental bills to poignant personal trials. The eclectic songs include a diverse list of acclaimed songwriters including Jamie Cullum, Jackson Browne, Leiber & Stoller, The Indigo Girls, John Mayer, Randy Newman, The Beatles, Maltby & Shire, and Johnny Mercer. The show is directed by Andy Gale with Ray Fellman as musical director/arranger. Brandon
Cutrell and Michael Sheridan will sing back-up vocals.

Ms. Marchionda has had an expansive career. She is a Jeff Award winner whose musical theater credits include "The Apple Tree" at City Center Encores, "The Wizard of Oz" with Eartha Kitt and Mickey Rooney at Madison Square Garden, and Lincoln Center's "West Side Story Suite" with the New York City Ballet directed by Jerome Robbins. She has also appeared Off-Broadway in "Our Sinatra" as well as co-starring in national tours of "A Chorus Line," Arena Stage's "Damn Yankees", The St. Louis Muny's "West Side Story," "On the Town," "Man of La Mancha," and the one-woman revue "Early One Morning." She was honored with the Joseph Jefferson Award (Jeff) for playing the title role in "Kiss Of the Spider Woman" at The Apple Tree Theatre in Chicago.

Back Stage Bistro Award winning pianist/arranger Ray Fellman was also honored by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC) in 2007. He was worked extensively in cabaret, appearing
at the Oak Room at The Algonquin, Feinstein's at Lowes Regency, Jazz At Lincoln Center, and numerous local venues in Manhattan where he has worked with Kristy Cates, Alison Fraser, Lauren Kennedy, and Karen Mason. He has been on the staff at NYU. Other New York and national musical credits include "The Tutor," "Reluctant Pilgrim," and the Storefront Theatre's "New Mondays" (Bill Russell and Emily Skinner), "No Reservations" (Brandon Cutrell with Karen Mason and Shoshanna
Bean), Utah Festival Opera Company, The Opera Company of Brooklyn, and Mid-America Productions at Carnegie Hall.

For many years, Andy Gale has been associated with the long-running Off-Broadway hit "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" and directing productions from Allentown to Australia. Among
numerous theater credits, Andy also staged Audra McDonald's solo appearance with The Boston Pops on PBS. In cabaret, he has worked with Julie Reyburn, Frans Bloem, and Jennifer Naimo ("Jersey Boys"). He is currently working on "Last Will And Testament" with playwright Jennifer Houlton.

Brandon Cutrell is a MAC, Nightlife, and Back Stage Bistro Award winning vocalist. He has made acclaimed appearances at The Laurie Beechman Theater and Feinstein's At the Regency. He also hosts the mega-popular The After Party at The Beechman.

Michael Sheridan is an acclaimed vocalist who has appeared in many national commercials. He also appeared in the movie version of "Hair" before finding success in private enterprise. He has returned to show business and often sings with Ms. Marchionda as well as appearing in summer stock productions.
