The single, performed by Grammy Nominee and Broadway favourite, Cheyenne Jackson will be released on 16th February in support of amfAR.
amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of AIDS-related public policy.
The song was written especially for Cheyenne by composers Daniel and Laura Curtis, whose last album 'Love on 42nd Street' featured performers such as Lea Salonga, Sierra Boggess, Samantha Barks and Ramin Karimloo topped the iTunes Vocal Chart and Amazon Broadway chart. The composers most recently their single 'When You Smile' featuring Laura Osnes.
Laura Curtis said, "We have loved working with Cheyenne on this song who has one of the most honest and moving voices in the industry and to have his input on the direction of the song was brilliant. We are very pleased to release the song to show support for amfAR and the incredible work that they do.''
Cheyenne Jackson made his Broadway debut understudying both male leads in the Tony Award winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie and then went on to create the role of Matthew in the off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz. Cheyenne took on the leading role in All Shook Up and other Broadway credits include Xanadu, Finian's Rainbow and The Performers. Jackson's television credits include Dustin Goolsby in Glee and Danny Baker in 30 Rock. He also starred in the Academy Award nominated film, United 93.
Cheyenne will perform at the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony on the 8th February. Cheyenne is himself nominated for a Grammy award as a principal soloist as part of The San Francisco Symphony's concert presentation of West Side Story.
