Charlie Pollock (Violet, 9 to 5, "The Good Wife") will join the cast of Pretty Woman: THE MUSICAL, in the role of 'Philip Stuckey,' beginning June 11, 2019. Jason Danieley's final performance will be Sunday, June 9, 2019.
Pollock joins original cast members Samantha Barks as 'Vivian,' Andy Karl as 'Edward,' Orfeh as 'Kit,' Eric Anderson as 'Mr. Thompson,' and Kingsley Leggs as 'James Morse,' in the record-breaking production, currently playing at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street).
Charlie Pollock's Broadway credits include Violet, Urinetown and 9 to 5. He has appeared in Encores' productions of The Wild Party and Really Rosie, and in Shakespeare in the Park's Love's Labour's Lost. Off-Broadway credits include David Bowie's Lazarus, Tick, Tick, Boom!, and I love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. National Tours include Urinetown and The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. TV and film credits include "Jesus Christ Superstar Live!" "The Good Wife" (recurring), "The Good Fight" (recurring), "Elementary," "As the World Turns (recurring)," "Law and Order," "The Guiding Light," and P.S. I Love You. Mr Pollock graduated from U.T. Austin.
PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL opened on Broadway on August 16, 2018 and features original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, a book by Garry Marshall and the film's screenwriter J.F. Lawton, and direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell.
It has broken the box office record a total of four times for an 8-performance week at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre.
