Bebe Neuwirth and Brandon Victor Dixon are set to announce the 73rd Annual Tony Award Nominations LIVE on Tuesday, April 30th. The nominations can be viewed LIVE (8:30am ET) on CBS This Morning will be live streamed in their entirety at www.TonyAwards.com.
Bebe Neuwirth has been dancing and singing and working in theatre, television and film for the last 40 years. Some of her credits are -- Broadway- A Chorus Line, Little Me, Dancin', Sweet Charity (Tony Award), Damn Yankees, Addams Family, Chicago (Tony, Drama Desk, Astaire, etc. Awards), Fosse. Off-Broadway- A Midsummer Night's Dream, Here Lies Jenny, etc. Regional- West Side Story, The Taming of the Shrew, etc. London's West End- Kiss of the Spiderwoman. TV- Cheers (2 Emmy Awards), Frasier, Blue Bloods, Madam Secretary, etc. Film- Greencard, Liberty Heights, Summer Sam, etc. Albums- Porcelain, Stories in NYC (live at 54Below). Various honors and awards- CTFD Rolex Dance Award, Dance Magazine Award, Honorary Doctorate from Manhattan School of Music, Honorary Zeigfeld Girl, Honorary member of Local 1 (Stagehands' Union).
Brandon Victor Dixon most recently starred as Collins in "RENT: Live" on FOX and as Judas Iscariot in NBC's "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert" (Emmy, Critics Choice and NAACP Image Award nominations). On Broadway, he most recently starred as Aaron Burr in HAMILTON. Previous Broadway credits include: Eubie Blake in Shuffle Along (Tony Award nomination), Berry Gordy in Motown The Musical (Grammy and Drama League Award nominations), and Harpo in The Color Purple (Tony Award nomination). National tour: Simba in The Lion King. Off-Broadway: F**king A, Rent and The Scottsboro Boys (Lucille Lortel, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle and Laurence Olivier Award nominations). Television: "POWER," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "One Life to Live," "The Good Wife," "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular," Spike Lee's "She's Gotta Have It," and Amazon Studios' "Modern Love."
