On June 7, 2015, a whole new group of Broadway community members were honored with 2015 Tony Awards for their excellence in theater this past season. From first time winners to veterans, the 2015 Tony Awards were filled to the brim with exciting wins. Some of the Tony Award winners stopped by to chat with BroadwayWorld about their big wins and who they forgot to say Thank You to during their acceptance speeches.

2015 Tony Award winner for Best Actress in a Musical, Kelli O'Hara (The King and I) gave one of the best acceptance speeches of the night when she finally won her long awaited Tony Award. She even included a little dance at the end to a rousing standing ovation. O'Hara discussed how she forgot to say thank you to her long-time manager and friend Erica Tuchman as well as her friend and agent Randi Goldstein. Fellow 2015 Tony Award winner and cast member in The King and I, Ruthie Ann Miles wished she had time to thank a producer at Lincoln Center, Ira Weitzman, who is one of the biggest supporters of the production.

Jeanine Tesori and Lisa Kron, who took home Tony Awards for Best Music and Lyrics and Best Book of a Musical for Fun Home respecitvely, talked about how they forgot to thank the musicians at the Circle in the Sqaure Theatre. Michael Cerveris, who took home the Tony for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his work as Bruce Bechdel in Fun Home says that if he had time he wished he could've thanked each and every member of the company individually. Cerveris later took to Twitter and posted an elongated acceptance speech where he did just that.

Meanwhile, Annaleigh Ashford (You Can't Take It With You), who took home the Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Play, thinks she nailed her acceptance speech when she thanked everyone she has ever met, ever. We think that's a great way to cover all your bases.
