Sacred Gallery in New York City is pleased to announce its upcoming show, Out of The Light of Darkness, Craig LaRotonda's latest body of work. The exhibition will be on display from July 12th through August 13th. Sacred Gallery is located in Soho at 424 Broadway on the 2nd floor. The gallery is free and open to the public daily from noon to 8:00 pm. The artist's reception will be on Saturday, July 12th from 8:00pm to 11:00 pm.

LaRotonda offers an interpretation of man's exploration of sacred and profane through the lens of an untainted humanity. He presents the search for the divine through a unique pallet that strips the human subject of eccentricities and shows the bare character juxtaposed against the somber expression of sacred iconography. Sacred Gallery invites the public to join in the journey that LaRotonda has displayed as his characters quest for the answers that man has sought since time immemorial.

LaRotonda stated, "In my show Out of The Light of Darkness, I continue to explore the theme of humanity's search for enlightenment. I see these works as transportation for the mind rooted neither in time nor place." He also said that the series of work explores the duality and complexity of existence, searching for answers to the universal questions of its meaning.
