Annoying Actor Friend just announced the inaugural AWARESIE AWARDS. But what are they, exactly?

According to Annoying Actor Friend's website, "The AWARESIE AWARDS honor excellence on Broadway, Broadway Internet, and more specifically: Shit the Tonys Leave Out."

The awards honor theatre professionals who fall into the category of an "Awaresie," described as "intelligent follower of Annoying Actor Friend who is aware of the negative implications of social media masturbation."

The very first AWARESIE AWARDS will be presented on June 1st, 2015.

All nominees were handpicked by Annoying Actor Friend, and winners will be voted on by the Awaresie Academy, which is a group of industry professionals and random friends chosen by Annoying Actor Friend.
