Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 65th Annual Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards® were announced May 3, 2011 by Tony Award winning actor Matthew Broderick and Tony Award winning actress Anika Noni Rose, at the Tony Award Nominations Announcement sponsored by IBM. The nominees were selected by an independent committee of 22 theatre professionals appointed by the Tony Awards Administration Committee. The 2011 Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

The Antoinette Perry "Tony" Awards are bestowed annually on theatre professionals for distinguished achievement. The Tony is one of the most coveted awards in the entertainment industry and the annual telecast is considered one of the most prestigious programs on television.

Marking 65 years of excellence on Broadway, The Tony Awards will be broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre on CBS, Sunday, June 12th, 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay). For more information visit tonyawards.com.

Josh Gad ("Elder Cunningham" in The Book of Mormon)
Josh Gad: Broad­way: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Barfee). Other theatre: All in the Timing, The Skin of Our Teeth and A One Man Show With Other People. Currently, Josh is a correspondent on "The Daily Show With John Stewart." Film: 21, The Rocker and Love and Other Drugs. TV: "Back to You," "Californication," "Bored to Death," "Numb3rs" and "Party Down." Josh is currently voicing the lead character in David Gordon Green's upcoming animated MTV series "Good Vibes" and starring in the BBC/MyDamnChannel.com web series "Gigi." Josh is a Carnegie Mellon graduate.

Joshua Henry ("Haywood Patterson" in The Scottsboro Boys)
Joshua Henry: Member of Jaradoa Theater Company and AEA. Broadway: American Idiot, In the Heights. City Center: The Wiz. Andrew Rannells ("Elder Price" in The Book of Mormon)
Andrew Rannells was last seen on Broadway as Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys, having played the role on the first national tour and in the Toronto company as well. Rannells also played Link Larkin in the Broadway production of Hairspray. Recently, he has been a proud part of the development of new projects including William Finn and James Lapine's Little Miss Sunshine and Douglas Carter-Beane's Lysistrata Jones. Andrew would like to thank Abrams Artists, his friends here in New York and his family in Omaha, NE.

Tony Sheldon ("Bernadette" in Priscilla Queen of the Desert)
Tony Sheldon has played Bernadette for over 1,100 performances in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and London where he was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
