Music Theatre of Wichita has just opened its brand new production of Disney's and Cameron Mackintosh's "Mary Poppins" to rave reviews. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast onstage below!
Directed by producing artistic director Wayne Bryan, the production features choreography by Linda Goodrich, musical direction by Thomas W. Douglas, sets by J Branson, costumes by George T. Mitchell, lighting by David Neville, sound by David Muehl, props by Michelle A. Bisbee, and a 62 member cast.
Leading roles are played by Lindsey Bliven ("Mary Poppins" tour) as the title character, David Elder ("42nd Street," "Curtains") as Bert, Damon Kirsche as Mr. Banks, Claire Gerig as Mrs. Banks, Londen Peebler as Jane, Edward Sturm as Michael, Hannah Freeman as Mrs. Corry, Karen L. Robu as Miss Andrew and the Bird Woman, Katie Banks as Mrs. Brill, Elliott Mattox as Robertson Ay, and Michael Hartung as Neleus.
