The continuation of Broadway's longest-running musical The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, which is currently playing at Melbourne's Regent Theatre, is being filmed this week, and accordingto the show's Facebook page, will be available on DVD in February 2012.
Andrew Lloyd Webber is in town for the filming, and Australian TV has the first look at the filming of the production with some behind the scenes footage and a new interview with Webber and director Simon Phillips.
According to the show's Facebook page, the continuation of Broadway's longest-running musical The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, which is currenty playing at Melbuorne's Regent Theatre, will be filmed and soon be available on DVD. The production will be filmed on September 15.
According to the NY Times, the continuation of Broadway's longest-running musical The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies might not make it to Broadway after all. When asked if the show has a future on the Great Whte Way, creator Andrew Lloyd Webber commented:'I think there are a lot of people who would love to see it go there, but I think that we're all realistic, and I think with the baggage that it's got, it might be better to just let it be discovered.'
The continuation of Broadway's longest-running musical The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, which opened May 21 at the Regent Theatre, is now booking through September 25.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical LOVE NEVER DIES will close on 27 August 2011. The production had recently announced that bookings were open through January 2012. The musical opened at the Adelphi Theatre 9th March 2010, with previews from 20th Feb and closed down briefly last winter for a set of changes.

The Australian Production of LOVE NEVER DIES, Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequel to PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, is set to open at Melbourne's Regent Theatre next May, with a creative team that features Simon Phillips as director, Graeme Murphy as choreographer and Gabriela Tylesova as set and costume designer. The sequel is set in 1907 in New York's Coney Island theme park, where the Phantom has resided since fleeing the Paris Opera House a decade earlier - and where he lures Christine in a final bid to win back her love.
