It's Official! Australian LOVE NEVER DIES to be Released on DVD!

According to the show's Facebook page, the continuation of Broadway's longest-running musical The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies, which is currenty playing at Melbuorne's Regent Theatre, will be filmed and soon be available on DVD. The production will be filmed on September 15. (more...)

LOVE NEVER DIES to Be Filmed in Melbourne; No Broadway?

According to the NY Times, the continuation of Broadway's longest-running musical The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies might not make it to Broadway after all. When asked if the show has a future on the Great Whte Way, creator Andrew Lloyd Webber commented:'I think there are a lot of people who would love to see it go there, but I think that we're all realistic, and I think with the baggage that it's got, it might be better to just let it be discovered.' LOVE NEVER DIES to Close in West End in August

Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical LOVE NEVER DIES will close on 27 August 2011. The production had recently announced that bookings were open through January 2012. The musical opened at the Adelphi Theatre 9th March 2010, with previews from 20th Feb and closed down briefly last winter for a set of changes. (more...)

Australian LOVE NEVER DIES to Feature Giant Mask, Rollercoaster, Freak Show and More

The Australian Production of LOVE NEVER DIES, Andrew Lloyd Webber's sequel to PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, is set to open at Melbourne's Regent Theatre next May, with a creative team that features Simon Phillips as director, Graeme Murphy as choreographer and Gabriela Tylesova as set and costume designer. The continuation of Broadway's longest-running musical The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies will open in May 2011 at the Regent Theatre. It's now been announced that starring as The Phantom and Christine will be Ben Lewis as the Phantom and Anna O'Byrne as Christine.
