Photo Coverage: Young Dancers Make Broadway Debuts in AN AMERICAN IN PARIS Dance Class!

Earlier this week, the Tony Award winning hit musical, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS teamed up with Steps Dance School to offer a free dance class for kids ages 8 to 12. The class allowed the kids to make their 'Broadway debuts' on stage at the Palace Theatre. Conducted by Associate Director/Choreographer Dontee Kiehn and assisted by cast members from AN AMERICAN IN PARIS including Tony nominee Leanne Cope and Associate Choreographer Sean Kelly, the students learned some of the actual Tony Award-winning choreography by Christopher Wheeldon featured in the musical. The Tony Award winning hit musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS just celebrated its first year on Broadway last night, April 12. Since it opened on April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS has played 416 regular performances and 29 previews and has been seen by over 650,000 people. The company celebrated the milestone last night with a special cake from Carlo's Bakery of the "Cake Boss." Check out photos below!
