BWW TV: Sneak Peek of Signature Theatre's THE MOUND BUILDERS

Signature Theatre has announced a one-week extension for THE MOUND BUILDERS written by Lanford Wilson and directed by Jo Bonney. The production will now play through Sunday, April 14. The production is currently in previews and will open March 17 in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). STAGE TUBE: SPIDER-MAN Cast Says Farewell to Peter Parker

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in its 2nd smash year on Broadway, and has been seen by more than 1 million audience members from around the world. It features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy Award-winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger(Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, 'Big Love'). Peter Parker died in the 700th and final issue of 'The Amazing Spider-Man,' and in the video below, the cast tributes the character along with a slew of other stars. Check it out below! (more...)

Rick McKay's BROADWAY: BEYOND THE GOLDEN AGE Goes to Kickstarter for Funding

Finally there's news on the anxiously awaited sequel to Rick McKay's award-winning film, Broadway: The Golden Age, with 100 new stars and new rare footage. A sequel is in the works, and though it's 95% complete, some extra funding is needed to finish the film, and you can contribute via the project's official Kickstarter campaign. (more...)
