All new video footage and photos have been released for the UK touring production of Shrek The Musical which opened at Theatre Royal Plymouth on Friday 21 July.

Today we rewind to 2016, when Bright Star arrived on Broadway. The musical opened on March 24 at the Cort Theatre, where it ran for 109 performances.

Florida Studio Theatre presents Bright Star, the five-time Tony-nominated musical and winner of the 2016 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Broadway Musical. Called a?oeShininga?? and a?oeOutstandinga?? by The Observer, Bright Star tells an inspiring story of forbidden love, betrayal, and the power of compassion.

The sun is gonna shine today because its the birthday of the legendary actor and comedian Steve Martin! In honor of the occasion, we're looking back at his Tony-nominated musical Bright Star that he wrote the score for with Edie Brickell. Gulfshore Playhouse, Southwest Florida's Premiere Professional theatre, is very excited to announce that 2016 Tony Award-nominee Carmen Cusack stars in the one-woman, world premiere of Do This by Karen Siff Exkorn, which is now running through the 28th. OCTOBER SKY will run now through October 23, 2016 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Award-winning non-for-profit Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BroadwaySingsForPride.com) held their 6th annual PRIDE benefit concert on Monday, June 20, 2016. To start the night, Daniel Quadrino, from Broadway's Wicked and Newsies, sang 'Imagine' to reflect on the tragedy that happened in Orlando. He was joined onstage by members of the New York community, to echo the sentiment that New York stands behind Orlando and that art can be used to inspire and change minds.
