STAGE TUBE: On This Day 11/20- Jeremy Jordan

Happy Birthday Jeremy Jordan! This year, Jordan was nominated for a Tony Award for his role as Jack Kelly in NEWSIES, which he began with Paper Mill Playhouse's U.S. touring production in 2011. Jordan has also appeared in Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde in 2011, as well as Rock of Ages and West Side Story in 2009. He guest-starred on Law & Order: SVU in 2008 and appeared in the film Joyful Noise. He will soon appear on the upcoming second season of NBC's SMASH. (more...)

STAGE TUBE: On This Day 11/19- Laura Osnes

Happy Birthday Laura Osnes! Osnes made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of Grease. On March 10, 2009 Osnes took over the role of Ensign Nellie Forbush from Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara, who went on maternity leave, in the Lincoln Center Theater Broadway revival of South Pacific. She then starred as Hope Harcourt, alongside Sutton Foster and Joel Grey, in the Broadway revival of Anything Goes. Osnes then played Bonnie Parker opposite Jeremy Jordan in Bonnie & Clyde, which opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in 2011. She will soon lead the upcoming revival of Cinderella. (more...)

STAGE TUBE: Preview SONDHEIM UNPLUGGED, Set for The Coterie 6/2

Sondheim Unplugged, an acoustic evening of Sondheim tunes (featuring one song from every one of his major projects) will play The Coterie at The Hollywood Renaissance Hotel on June 2nd at 8:30PM. Prior to the Hollywood engagement, the concert produced by Jordan Beck and directed by J. Scott Lapp (Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde), featuring all new arrangements by David Lamoureux played at Caffeinated Cabaret in Downtown Riverside on May 20th and Cabaret at The Merc in Old Town Temecula this last Sunday night, May 27th. Bonnie & Clyde stars Laura Osnes (2011 Drama Desk nominee, Anything Goes) and Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, West Side Story).
