Warner Bros. to Release Restored 3D Edition of THE WIZARD OF OZ

Warner Bros. announced today that the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz will be fully restored and converted into 3D, as a part of the studio's 90th Anniversary celebration next year. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Frank McCourt (Angela's Ashes, 'Tis), The Irish and How They Got That Way tells the story of the Irish experience on both sides of the pond. It's imbued with McCourt's unique humor and draws on his personal experience as an Irish-American. Told through a revue of songs, this sometime irreverent but always loving look at the Irish people includes such immortals as "Danny Boy," "The Rose of Tralee, and "Harrigan"-the works of George M. Tom Hewitt, Jonathan Hammond and More Set for TUTS' SPAMALOT

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) is excited to announce the cast for the outrageous musical comedy Spamalot, running May 14 - 26 at the Hobby Center for The Performing Arts. Lovingly ripped off from the classic film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail,' this three-time Tony Award winning show spoofs the Arthurian legend amidst a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, flying cows, killer rabbits and one legless knight.
