Following a smash-hit season at The London Palladium and a record-breaking UK & Ireland Tour, The Wizard of Oz returns to the West End for four weeks only this August.



Starring JLS sensation Aston Merrygold as The Tin Man, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner and Dancing On Ice star The Vivienne as The Wicked Witch of the West, this spectacular production will be truly magical for all the family.



Featuring the iconic original score from the Oscar-winning MGM film including Over The Rainbow, Follow The Yellow Brick Road and We’re Off To See The Wizard with additional songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

Allan Stewart (Stones in His Pockets, West End, UK Tour, Toronto; STV Hello, Good Evening, Welcome) and Alex Bourne (Annie, West End, UK Tour, Toronto; Hairspray, UK Tour) will reprise their touring roles as The Wizard when The Wizard of Oz concludes its major UK and Ireland tour this summer.

We chat with director Wayne R. Scott about Anne of Green Gables at LifeHouse Theater. He is a writer, composer, producer and director who has authored 30 original musicals and numerous other widely produced works.  He has also produced and directed nine musicals at the internationally known Redlands Bowl, including Annie, The Sound of Music, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Wizard of Oz, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and most recently, Disney’s Mary Poppins for the Redlands Community Music Association.
