ATC Announces 2013-14 Seasonby BWW News Desk - May 8, 2013American Theater Company proudly announces Season 29, which kicks off with the tour of its critically-acclaimed production of columbinus to ArtsEmerson: The World On Stage; followed by the holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life: The Radio Playand a special subscriber-only production of The Wizard of Oz: A Radio Play, both directed by ATC Artistic Director PJ Paparelli. The season continues with the Chicago Premiere of Stephen Karam's 2012 Pulitzer Prize Finalist Sons of the Prophet directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli. Closing out the 29th Season, Paparelli will direct the previously announced, restored and revised version of the classic American rock musical Hair. Following the success of The Original Grease, Paparelli now teams up with Hair co-creator James Rado to restore original material from the 1968 off-Broadway production that hasn't been seen in 45 years.
