Colin Quinn's Long Story Short Directed by Seinfeld Headed to Broadway; Previews Oct. 22; Open Nov. 9

Former 'Saturday Night Live' and Comedy Central star Colin Quinn will move his one-man show Colin Quinn Long Story Short, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, to Broadway's Helen Hayes Theatre for an 11-week limited engagement. Preview performances begin on Friday, October 22nd and will officially open on Tuesday, November 9th. The production will play through Saturday, January 8th. (more...)

'J.A.P. Show' Ends Off-Bway 10/1, Begins South US Tour

After a 6 month run Off-Broadway at Actor's Temple Theater, The J.A.P Show: Jewish American Princesses of Comedy will head south for the winter, as The J.A.P Show takes residence in downtown Miami, Florida for a multi-week sit-down production starting December 20; followed by a multi-week run at The Kravis Center in Palm Beach, Florida. The show will wrap-up its regular performing schedule Off-Broadway by October 1. (more...)

Back by overwhelming popular demand and as a kick off to its 25th Anniversary Season, Florida Stage presents the return of ELLA as its 2011 summer sensation. Though it has been seen in regional theatres such as Arena Stage, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Hartford Stage, Guthrie Theatre, and Actors Theatre of Louisville, ELLA was created at Florida Stage nearly 5 years ago and has since gone on to be produced in many theatres across the country. I Love a Piano, an enchanting revue of the music and lyrics of Irving Berlin, spans over seven decades of American history and includes 64 of Berlin's most enduring and popular favorites. Under the direction and choreography of Ray Roderick (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang national tour), who co-created the show with Michael Berkeley, these show-stopping song and dance numbers performed by a cast of talented young actors bring fresh energy to Berlin's material.
